Getting a job in this economy sucks, but for an aspiring journalist, it's f-ing impossible. These are 100% real rejection letters I've gotten during the past year up until now. I'm posting one letter a day until I get a job. This might take awhile.

Greetings Chrissy,

First off, I had a blast speaking with you last week and I appreciate you flying all the way from Chicago. You’re an awesome person. So smart, funny and personable. That said, I’m sorry to say I chose a different candidate for the editorial assistant position. Still, you were at the top of the list (and I’m not just saying that) so please keep in touch because I’m gonna need contributors. If anything else opens up I’ll definitely keep you in mind.
